Mass Spectrometry Repair

Providion offers full range of mass spectrometry repair and refurbishment services — from emergency on-site callouts to workshop electronics repairs, and a parts exchange programme — at a fraction of OEM service costs.

On-Site, On-Demand Repairs

When budgets don’t allow for a full-service contract, Providion offers high-quality, cost-effective on-site repair services for mass spectrometry systems. Our experienced engineers respond quickly to diagnose faults, restore performance, and minimise instrument downtime.

Parts Exchange Program

To help reduce service costs and support sustainability, Providion operates a parts exchange program. Wherever possible, components are professionally refurbished and restored to their original working specification—providing a reliable, environmentally responsible alternative to OEM replacement parts.

Validation and Qualification

Providion delivers IQ, OQ, and PQ validation services for mass spectrometry systems — performed by certified engineers and backed by complete, audit-ready documentation to keep your instruments compliant and operational.

Installation Qualification (IQ)

Installation Qualification ensures your instrument is delivered exactly as specified and professionally installed to operate reliably in its intended environment.

Successful completion of IQ provides the foundation for OQ and PQ, ensuring your system is ready for compliant operation from day one. IQ must be repeated whenever the instrument is moved to a new location to maintain data integrity and regulatory confidence.

Operational Qualification / Performance Qualification  (OQ/PQ)

An Operational and Performance Qualification confirms that your analytical system is operating properly in your laboratory and delivering reliable, reproducible performance to manufacturer specifications.

OQ/PQ provides confidence that your instrument is ready for routine use and compliant operation. Requalification is required after relocation, preventive maintenance, or major service events to ensure continued performance and data integrity.

Benefits of Providion Validation Services

Validation services are performed by certified engineers with extensive experience in analytical instrumentation and regulated laboratory environments
Complete, audit-ready IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation executed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and established acceptance criteria
Requalification support following instrument relocation, preventive maintenance, or significant repair to maintain validated system status

Developed by our experienced technical experts, who know and understand your instrument, our validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) ensure you meet external compliance requirements. And if you operate in a GLP or GMP environment, we work with you to ensure our services align with your established quality protocols.
