My Turbo Pump is louder than normal – what should I do?

Depending on the noise level, we would usually recommend shutting down the MS immediately to avoid catastrophic failure of the pump. We can arrange for an exchange pump at a fraction of the cost of a new pump only if the pump has not suffered catastrophic failure or rotor damage.
